Forêt de Mien

Bold mix between cubism and classicism, Forest de Mien is a trip in time, in the heart of the former province of Chensi, cradle of Chinese civilization. As a snapshot of the time, the inhabitants go to their occupations at the foot of the secular trees and the imposing chain of the quinling. The whole of this pictorial scene is sublimated by the affixing of geometric models and frank lines expensive to the cubist movement.
