Daedalus

Thomas Dariel signs an intensely reflexive creation here, tremendously abstract and resolutely graphic. The gaze is absorbed by this colorful and contrasting association of ellipsoidal forms and structuring lines, and plunges the spectator into a mysterious universe. Daedalus refers to the hidden crater on the hidden side of the moon, and stands out as an intriguing room, like the real world of the invisible. There is also an undeniable reference to Dédale, a character of Greek mythology, of which we find aesthetic genius in the labyrinthine association of graphic forms. This creation could also be a cartography.
